Dave Taylor – Skegness Raceway Marshal
On Saturday at Skegness Raceway one of the Skegness Marshals was injured by a piece of debris, Dave Taylor is an integral part of the Skeggy team and BriSCA F1 drivers wanted to help in anyway they could on Sunday. A collection amongst the drivers raised just under £1000, drivers then went amongst the crowd and the final total raised on the day came to an amazing £3,595.96, just proving to everyone what a huge Oval Racing Family we are. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who put some money in the pot, your generosity has been overwhelming.
Dave is currently in Lincoln hospital, he has a fractured skull, a small bleed on the brain, two broken eye sockets and a broken nose. He will have to have reconstructive surgery at some point soon, he is in good spirits considering and we all wish him a very speedy recovery.
