Saturday 26th March 2022 – Bradford

22 March 2022 Off By bscda

After a fantastic opening to the season last Saturday at King’s Lynn, Ryan Harrison (197) set his stall out very early this season as he very nearly completed a maximum points haul having won his Heat and Grand Final, he saw an opportunity in the Grand National to take all the points he possibly could with a last bend lunge on leader Sam Brigg (587) only to end up not finishing. Fair play to Ryan for not settling for 2nd place whilst on double points.

Tom Harris (1), racing the ex-220 shale car which he had an outing in last season, also picked up two race wins, one in the Consolation after a weight issue with the winner Mat Newson (16) promoting Tom to top spot and also a win in the Grand National.

Mark Sargent (326) also took victory in the 2021 Whites & Yellows Final with Neil Holcroft (496) and Colin Goodswen (372) following across the line.

With Ryan Harrison failing to finish the Grand National, it meant Frankie Wainman Jnr’s (515) consistency over the course of the meeting sees him top of the Grading Points after placing 2nd in his Heat and Grand Final followed by 3rd in the Grand National.

The latest Grading Points can be found here.

This Saturday we head over to Yorkshire as YorStox host their first meeting of the season at Bradford having taken over from Startrax during in the off season.

Opening night starts with a bang with a return of the ground shaking BriSCA F1’s alongside the slightly smaller cousins of the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars who will themselves be competing in a World Qualifying Round. Below are all the details that you need to know if you are planning a trip racing with us on Saturday 26th March. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Season tickets are also available in various packages which can also be found by following the same links. Once a ticket is purchased via the site, you will recieve a QR Code to the email address provided (please check your junk mail). This code will grant you access to the stadium on race day. If you are arriving separately, you can send tickets via the FIXr website to split down your booking, without this you must arrive together. QR codes will only be valid once so please do not try to forward this on.

General admission tickets will be available to purchase on race day from the turnstiles entrances, we have a large stadium capacity and we will not sell out on the day. Cash and card payments taken.

The stadium boasts great viewing from all areas, including a 4,000 covered seated grandstand (no extra charge). Please note you cannot reserve grandstand seats prior to the event. Food and drink outlets are available including licenced bars all around the stadium as well as trade stands which are located on the turnstile bend where you enter the stadium.

Toilets are available all around the raceway including disabled access and baby changing facilities.

Disabled parking is available around the back of the stadium along from the Q Gardens pub, please note spaces are limited and these cannot be reserved. General car parking can also be found here along with across the road at the Council Operated Richard Dunn’s Centre (£5 per car charge). If you do not use these parking facilities please ensure you park sensibly and avoid using nearby housing estates as this will impact the future viability of the raceway.

There is no general access to the pit area for Health and Safety reasons.

Strictly no alcohol or glass is to be brought into the stadium.

No dogs are permitted into the stadium.

Details such as stadium opening times and driver booking lists will appear at least 3 days prior to the event.
