How it Works
The Shield format will run alongside the Shootout competition. All drivers not qualified for the silver roof Shootout will take part in the competition. Drivers will score as per the national points championship subject to a multipliers effect according to their grade at any point the points are scored. Points multipliers will be scored as follows:
- Whites × 4 points
- Yellow × 3 points
- Blue × 2 points
- Red / SS × 1 point
In addition drivers will score attendance points for each meeting raced at during a series. A driver must start at least two races during a meeting for attendance points to be scored. Attendance points will be scored as follows:
- Whites 10 points attendance
- Yellow 20 points attendance
- Blue 30 points attendance
- Red / SS 40 points attendance
