Sad News – Des Chandler (ex-213)
The BSCDA is saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Des Chandler (213) A Star driver who in the 80’s 90’s won 5 Grand Finals, was runner up in the Trust Fund race and recorded 2 rostrum finishes in the World Championship, coming home 3rd in 1989 at Coventry, and 1995 at Hednesford. He will be sadly missed around the raceways and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this terribly sad time.
