Tom Harris (1) is currently competing in the Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma over in the US and he had a very good night on Wednesday 15th January in the 97K car supplied by Keith Kunz Motorsports.

Tom placed very well in Heat 6 (8 laps) following Rico Abreu (97) home to take 2nd place from his 4th place starting position.

It was more of the same in the 3rd Qualifier (10 laps) as Tom finished 2nd again but this time to Colby Copeland (27W) who took the win. Tom also beat home NASCAR Cup Series driver, Ryan “Rocket Man” Newman (6N) who finished 5th. Tom’s efforts earned him a place in the A-Main feature.

The two drivers who finished 1st in both of Tom’s previous races picked up where they left off in the A-Main. Rico Abreu took the chequered flag and was followed home by Colby Copeland with Tom picking up a respectable 13th from 24 cars, beating the likes of 2019 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion, Brad Sweet and again beating Ryan Newman.

Tom can certainly be proud of his achievements. We wish Tom the best of luck for the rest of his visit.
