Team GB is managed by four time BriSCA F1 World Champion and current BSCDA Chairman Peter Falding with Vice Chairman Guy Parker as Director.

Triple World 240s Champion Frankie Wainman Jnr (515GB) captains this year’s team that includes Bobby Griffin (166GB), Karl Hawkins (175GB), Joe Booth (446GB), Frankie Wainman Jnr Jnr (555GB) and former BriSCA F2 World Champion Micky Brennan (968GB).

Friday sees Wainman & Co come up against eighteen times champions, the Palmerston North Panthers, in their first race followed by four times champions, the Stratford Scrappers, in their second race.

Fourteen teams enter the championship on Friday with the top eight progressing to day two of the event on Saturday whilst the bottom six drop out.

So far, the British Lions best finish has been second on three occasions: 2009, 2016 and 2017.
