Saturday 22nd August 2020 – King’s Lynn – 5:30pm – Round 1 of The Chase 2020

This Saturday sees the long awaited return of BriSCA F1 to the raceways as we head over to Norfolk for Round 1 of The Chase 2020 at the Adrian Flux Arena, King’s Lynn. It’s been a long nine months since our last race meeting and we are looking forward to finally kicking off the 2020 season.
46 cars were originally booked in but due to the current travel rules for people from The Netherlands, our Dutch friends would not be allowed to race even if they did travel due to having to quarantine. Unfortunately and disappointingly, this means we have lost 8 cars for this meeting with the booking list currently at 38 cars.
Although our car numbers are down due to factors beyond our control, the 38 drivers that we do have booked in are raring to go and we look forward to being back on track to put on a show.

The Chase 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic brought the whole country to a standstill the week before our season was due to start back in March and with five months having passed, the decision was taken to postpone all major championships until 2021.
Once our sport was given the green light to finally get the season underway, albeit with a redueced capacity crowd, the fixture list was finally agreed and we now have eleven meetings until the end of the season on Sunday 8th November.
The eleven meetings are now officially known as “The Chase 2020 – BriSCA F1 Celebrate Our Frontline Workers”. The winner of this mini series will go down in history as the only person to win the title and will be allowed to display a Rainbow Roof for the 2021 season.
Fundraising has begun for The Chase 2020 and more information can be find via the GoFundMe page below:
